So now it's Christmas, and looking back on last year and last last year and last last last year, it's becoming more and more apparent that everyone's growing up and we're not children anymore. It is a weird feeling, regarding your former self as a whole different individual, a whole different chapter in your life, a chapter closed for good. Now that my life has sort of mellowed out and I've reached a lull in the drama, I can really look back and reflect on what's happened to me. It's in doing so, I realize that I've regrettably lost much that meant a lot to me, and though I've gained quite a bit too, it's sort of a somber thought to know that you can never go back to the past. I guess it was all of this, this large thought that moved me to say that for Christmas I want to make sure I don't make the mistakes that I did in chapters past. I guess it's not really something Santa can deliver to me, at least nothing conventional or direct like a quarter from the tooth fairy. Hopefully though, I'll have the mind to think back on everything that's happened to me these past few years and make the best of it.
That said and done, have a happy Federal-Holi day, guys.
Okay kiddos, mark your calendars. May 3rd is Asian Counting Day, probably the most important day of the year for many of you (Check your number from last year here). We'd like it if you could remember and help out and stuff. I'll probably remind everyone the closer we get.
and Candy Cane Day is June 1st, I hope people remembered to keep their candy canes this year... I felt weird eating a candy cane by myself in english class.
